Welcome to the Penelope Lane Photography Dog-friendly Wedding Photography Competition! I am excited to invite engaged couples and their pet dog(s) to enter this once in a lifetime competition to win a full day Wedding Photography package (worth £1850!).
Dogs hold a special place in our hearts, which is especially true on our wedding day. As I mark my 10th year in business, I want to honour the unique bond between couples and their canine companions, capturing the magic of your love story, along with every tail wag and slobbery kiss.

Competition Terms and Conditions
1. Eligibility:
- The competition is open to couples who are legally eligible for marriage according to the UK law.
- Participants must have a registered pet dog that will be present at their wedding.
- Participants must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Participants must be getting married after May 1st 2024, and before October 31st 2025 anywhere in the UK.
- Participants must be dog owners of any breed, who will bring their dog(s) to their wedding ceremony and whose dogs are not known to show signs of aggression or dangerous behaviour towards wedding guests/staff under basic wedding day circumstances.
2. Entry Requirements:
- To enter the competition, participants must:
1) Like @penelopelanephoto on Instagram.
2) Share the competition post on your instagram stories.
3) Comment and tag a friend on the competition post on instagram.
4) Complete the entry form provided on the competition landing page.
The entry must include basic details of the couple, their wedding date, and a brief description of their special bond with their pet dog(s).
3. Prize Details:
- The prize consists of a full-day Wedding Photography package with Penelope Lane Photography, valued at £1850.
- The package includes coverage of the wedding day by two professional photographers, with the option for additional services as agreed upon between the winner and Penelope Lane Photography.
4. Ownership and Usage Rights:
- By submitting an entry to the competition, participants agree that Penelope Lane Photography remains the owner of the photographs with rights to use, reproduce, publish, and display the submitted content for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to online and offline platforms.
5. Selection of Winner:
- The winner will be selected based on photographer availability and judged by the creativity and thoughtfulness of responses written in the application form, from all eligible entries received.
- The decision of Penelope Lane Photography is final and binding in all matters related to the competition.
6. Notification of Winner:
- The winner will be notified via email within 5 working days of the closing date of the competition (25/03/2024)
- The winner must respond to the notification within 5 working days to claim their prize. Failure to respond within this timeframe may result in disqualification, and an alternate winner may be selected.
7. Prize Redemption:
- The prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
- The winner may be required to provide additional information for prize redemption, such as contact details and wedding venue information.
8. Publicity:
- By entering the competition, participants grant Penelope Lane Photography the right to use the winning wedding photography content for promotional purposes without further compensation or notification.
9. Governing Law:
- The competition is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
10. Data Protection:
- Personal data collected for the purposes of the competition will not be shared with third parties or used outside of reasonable administrative use for the competition purpose. Data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws (GDPR).
11. Modification or Cancellation:
- Penelope Lane Photography reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the competition in whole or in part at any time without prior notice if circumstances beyond their control compromise the fairness or integrity of the competition.
